H Cecile, You only replied to me and not to the LxX list. I have taken the liberty of attaching your example file and reposting to the list so that the real experts can have a look at it.
I tried the file in Linux Ubuntu 12.10, LyX 2.0.4 and LyX 2.0.6dev and with Windows 7, LyX 2.0.3 and it works in all three cases , gnerating an 8 page document. I ran it as a dvi and a pdflatex on both systems. What happens when you run the file? What errors are you getting ? What format are you using? It might be useful to know if , for example, pdflatex is not working but dvi is. I suspect that the problem may be with the LaTeX installation but I really don't know a lot about Lyx or Latex.. You might want to download something like Texmaker www.xm1math.net/texmaker/ and seeing if you can compile a simple latex file. I have a attached one that works for me in Ubuntu. ________________________________ From: Cecile Danilo <cecile_dan...@yahoo.fr> To: John Kane <jrkrid...@yahoo.ca> Sent: Friday, February 22, 2013 4:31:58 PM Subject: Re: passage mac windows Since using windows is new for me I have downloaded LyX-2.0.5.1-Bundle-4.exe I have windows 7. (you asked me about my mac but I have no problem with lyx on my mac) I have never used latex (only lyx) If you need more info, don’t hesitate! I join an example of a file. Par contre si je cree des fichiers lyx sous windows, je ne rencontre aucun probleme pour les compiler. Existe-t-il une solution? Cordialement, Cecile D.
