No, out of the box these shortcuts don't work, IMHO. Fortunately you may define them 1:1 yourself. I did it for note-insert - using the Preference editor, the user bind file is attached. This file resides in "$HOME/Library/Application Support/LyX-2.0" For 2.1 I'd think it's a good idea to add the insert menu commands at least to the set of known shortcuts. I'll do this later. It's a little bit work - one has to do it for different languages. Stephan
