Hello:

I would like to include text lines in align environment.

This inserts numbers in front of each line and aligns the lines
giving an output like this:

  (1) aligned text = line

I have the following questions:

1. How can a change the number (1) etc to a bullet or or any other character
without parenthesis?

2. How could I set the exact position of the number, for example to move it
to the right, closer to the aligned lines (or increase the margin for the
number)?

3. If I use several align environments the numbering is continuous.
How can I set each align \environment to start with number 1?

Inserting lines in the preamble for redefining variables or commands
is OK for me.

I am attaching an example lyx file and pdf output.

Thanks,

bcsikos
