Hi Patrick, Try using the "handout" class option. Let us know if that doesn't do what you want. Note that if you're using LyX 2.1.x there is a beautiful new Beamer manual full of lots of useful advice. I think it covers this and a lot more. Also note that Beamer support in LyX 2.1.x has changed a lot so be expect surprises if switching. Best, Scott
