Renato, Use the KOMA-Secipt letter2 class. There should still be an example on the LyX wiki that will get you on the right path. I use a .pdf as the 'header' on the first (or only) page; it's the company logo and contact information). The footer is empty because continuation pages have the date, recipient's name, and page number in the upper left corner. Rich
