I have never quite understood the relationship between the Closing and
the Signature paragraph types of the letter class.
If you designate a Closing followed by a Signature (but the Signature
is followed by nothing else), the Closing is shown, but *not* the
Signature.
If you designate a Signature at some earlier point in the text (before
the Closing ... it can even be at the beginning of the letter), then
the Closing is shown followed by a Signature (proper order).
I'm left scratching my head.
