Note that LyX crashes when cutting slightly complicated parts of
formulae when compiled with IBMs xlC V 3.1.4.x. It works fine when
compiled with g++ V 2.7.2.1. I just installed the latest compiler
updates, as it might be a compiler bug, with no success, LyX is still
crashing (reproducible). This applies to both version 0.12.1pre8 and
1.0.0pre2. Now I'll try g++ with debugger, to see if it's a program
bug or a real compiler bug. I'll send a summary soon.
