I have already uploaded tarlz-0.27.1 with the issue fixed in a way that I hope will prevent it from happening again. (I didn't notice it before release because in my two machines, cstdio includes pthread.h)

The (hopefully) fixed version is available at http://download-mirror.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/tarlz/tarlz-0.27.1.tar.lz
