Would not it better to use to use case insensitive (strcasecmp) in is_number() function?
No, because Arg_parser is a portable library and strcasecmp is not standard C.Moreover, only three forms of infinity should be accepted: lowercase, uppercase, and capitalized (Inf). Any other random combination of cases would be an incorrect abbreviation.
About NaN (not a number), I have removed it from the development version of Arg_parser because it is not a number.
Best regards, Antonio.
