I found this application PCBasic a GW-Basic Emulator
<http://robhagemans.github.io/pcbasic/> recently and installed it yesterday
in my "distro" : Linux Mint 17.2 . You may find it of use...
It allows one to write and run GW-Basic code native in Linux without WINE
or Crossover and versions are available for the Mac and PC.

As a reminder GW-Basic was one of the original Microsoft "Basics" for the
desktop and is most similar to the N82 type Basic on the m100 machines.
