While handling two RAMPACs, made by EME Systems, I accidently dropped one of them on a concrete floor. It landed hard and it clattered and bounced a bit before it came to rest.
Apparently the physical shock vibrated the RAMPAC internal circuitry and its 256Kbyte content has been altered. I have kept a recent backup of the entire RAMPAC content, so all files can be restored. After scrutinizing a bit of RAMPAC content, I decided to use the RAMPAC Diagnostic program, RD, to get an idea of the nature of the alteration born o physical shock. Because of its large volume, the RD program is produced by MERGE of two smaller volume textual files: RD1OF2.DO and RD2OF2.DO. Along with documentation file RD-DOC.DO, RD1OF2.DO and RD2OF2.DO are kept at the Club 100 site, and the Bitchin100 site has what likely is copies from the Club 100 site. What survives at these sites is not quite what I placed in the Club 100 site. There has been damage such that the resulting MERGE of files RD1OF2.DO and RD2OF2.DO do not produce the original RAMPAC Diagnostic program - either some lines are missing, or some line numbers or references to line numbers have changed. Most likely, some lines are no longer present and now are missing within RD1OF2.DO, in fact, no line numbers in the range from line 5 to line 28 are present now. Within that range, it's likely that line 12 and line 17 originally existed. If anybody has a copy of RD1OF2.DO please send me copy!
