hi guys,

hope you all are doing great. I just picked up a model T for doing some
free-lance writing because of the excellent keyboard-- though I LOVE classic
computing I am primarily a writer. I stumbled upon this video on transferring
files via Virtual T https://youtu.be/jBCshRbrHO8 which seems like the least
complicated process other than acquiring a "NAD box". But the video shows
transfer of a .ba program TO the model T, instead of transferring a .do file to
Virtual T. I have the null modem cable and even the usb converter as in this
video, but i also discovered the laptop I am planning on using (Windows XP) has
a Com Port. Can someone kindly walk me through the process of transferring my
document to a windows computer in The Simplest Terms possible? Though my very
first computer was a Tandy desktop I just missed the learning curve for
mastering Basic.

Thanks,
Nick
