I just released a new video today covering the refurb of a TPPD1 and TPPD2 drive. While both need the belts replaced after opening them up both were found to have other unique problems. We'll show the procedure for belt replacement, some plastic case repair techniques and even battery leakage repair. After they are fixed up we'll test both drives to make sure they can format disks, as well as write and read files, I even manage to not properly follow the TPDD2 bootstrap procedure at first which causes a lot of confusion. I got a kick out of it as I managed to type in that long string of gobbledygook to bootstrap the TPDD1 without error the first time.
