My understanding is the M100 keyboard was considered a little asocial since it was noisy. Wasn't really usable in meetings.
One "fix" was to modify the keyboard with orthodontic rubber bands to deaden the sound. I think the 102 / 200 keyboards were changed to address the noise issue. Personally I like my keyboard as loud as possible for various reasons. And if it kept me from being invited to meetings that would be a key feature :-) Too bad you can't get laptops with clicky keys anymore. -- John.
