I'm going to jump to the punch line and say it sounds like parallel port flow control ("BUSY") is not working. Broken pin? Bad cable? So the printer is not able to flow-off the T200 and gets overrun. Fits with bursts of data at the beginning, middle, end. You could try a different cable. Short of that, hardware on the T200 parallel port seems likely. You could write a short BASIC program to print your file a character at a time with a sufficient delay to not overrun the typewriter. -- John. >
