It's effectively the last of the interpreted line number Microsoft BASICs, isn't it? I'm given to understand some of the non-MS lineage BASICs are fantastic (BBC BASIC comes to mind as being so good as to have an inline assembler), too, but as far as what was widely available in the US it's tough to beat. EDITing can feel a little sluggish and some of the missing quality of life improvements come from Cleuseau; apart from that this is the BASIC to beat. TL;DR: Yep.
