Igor, I have had the same problem and used the "ignore instead of execute" band-aid.
Is there any update or indication that anyone is working on making the dependency plugin be supported? In general, how does one find out what the progress (if any) is being made on making any particular plugin? There is a table on (I believe) eclipsepedia which lists a few plugins that are supported, but that's all I've found. I'm particularly interested in figuring out the status of maven-dependency-plugin, maven-jaxb2-plugin, and cxf-codegen-plugin, just to be specific.
