Could support for provided-scope dependencies be a feature that could be
added? What bug system should one use to request/discuss this?

The reason I ask this is that while your approach sounds like it should
work, it kind of defeats one of the advantages of using Maven (speed and
simplicity of configuration). Instead of just running jetty:run, one has to
download the jetty distribution, add the dependencies for that particular
project to its shared libs and configure webby to use it.


Do you have any idea about my other question, i.e. if m2e supports war
overlays that are opened workspace projects?
