I have a standard Eclipse 3.7.2 EE edition. As we are using a default workspace file I've checked the settings and found the following entry:
org.eclipse.wst.web/addToEarByDefault=true That corresponds to the mentioned checkbox which seems to be available in the Rational tools but not in the standard eclipse. Anyhow Eclipse seems to honour this setting. - Yves On Nov 30, 2012, at 16:46 , Chuck Bridgham <cbrid...@us.ibm.com> wrote: > Agreed - There is a RAD workspace preference under JAVA EE -> Project , add > to Ear by default... uncheck this. > > > Thanks - Chuck > > Senior Architect, RAD Java EE Tools, WTP PMC Lead > IBM Software Lab - Research Triangle Park, NC > > > > From: Fred Bricon <fbri...@gmail.com> > To: M2E-WTP Developers mailing list <m2e-wtp-dev@eclipse.org> > Date: 11/30/2012 10:36 AM > Subject: Re: [m2e-wtp-dev] Extra projects are generated > Sent by: m2e-wtp-dev-boun...@eclipse.org > > > > m2e-wtp doesn't generate extra projects.
