Claudia, when arrowing to select ma or android, if you arrow all the way down, you will get a set as default choice, if you check this and then arrow back up to ma and select it, it becomes the default.

Okay,

So, I'll try to make a long storey short here. I tried installing EyesFree shell yesterday, before I began having problems with the demo version of MA! That did not turn out to be a good app. for me. It made certain screens go behind each other, the voice was terrible and barely understandable, and I could not navigate the screens. It was difficult to uninstall, even with sighted help. After that, Mobile Accessibility was not functioning as before. So, I went to the TMobile store, and they had to do a factory reset on the phone. All was well for a time. I bought the paid version of MA, but I couldn't get it to launch without sighted assistance. The Android screens & Talkback screens were always in the forefront, no matter what we tried. At some point, the track pad started working all together!
I lost all speech functionality!
I didn't think I could get to the store again today, due to lack of transportation on Sundays! I read up on the Internet on how to do a factory reset, and I got lucky & did have some sighted help, for a few minutes or so! My sister did the reset for me and began the reinstallation of MA. All is working again; I have both the Android system & MA as choices for my home screen; I just have to choose by using the arros on the trackpad. I was never prompted to use MA as my default. However, this currently works for me, so I cross my fingers that all is well, for the meantime.
