ok. Donny. you have to first install the basic ivona HQ voice app.
Just like you have to install the basic SVox voice first. Then
install the ivona voice you want to use. once it's installed you go
to settings/text to speech and go through the same process of
choosing the ivona HQ basic which you check. then right below that is
the ivona voice settings. click on that choose the voice. then set
ivona as the defalt speech engion. Go up and test it with the listen
to a brief sample button. If you don't here anything, then go back to
the default speech engion and choose pico as the default engion. This
according to the ivona website sort of resets things. If like me
you're trying to use a voice with a different voice, IE, UK english,
go to set the default language option again. Where once there was
only english US, now there will be other choices because pico comes
in other choices. In my case I chose english UK. Then I went back to
set default speech engion again and chose ivona. When I went back up
to listen to a sample, it took a couple of seconds, but there Amy
was. She spoke.
So I hope you can follow this. I was so excited about getting it to
work I may not be very clear. I found this info on the ivona website.
It gave instalation instructions.
