Hi Pedro,

Hear Planet sounds pretty interesting. However when I bring it up, it thinks
my location is a town about twenty miles away. Do you know how to give it your
correct location?

Jim

Around me is an app that helps you locate things like: banks/ATM’s, bars, gas
stations, cafés, taxis, etc… it’s a really good app, to have.

Hear planet is a app, that helps you get an audio description, of land marks
and other things around you… it’s a very good app to have when you are
traveling into a new place and not sure what’s in the area to checkout.

More information and direct link listed below:

HTH.

Good luck.

Hello, Jenny:

I have listed below the website where you can view all the accessible
applications that many android and mobile accessibility users have posted.
But I will list a couple of my favorite apps that you can download and try
out to see how you like it.
GPS’s: location blind, and look ahead.
Radio apps: Pandora, stitcher radio, and tune in radio.
Entertainment apps: around me, hear planet lite, and Jeannie.
IDentifiers: money ID Darwin Wallet, and color ID.

I hope this helps.
Good luck.

Well, again pardon my replying to everyone, but I can't get my Mac to let me
reply to the sender only.

So if I get any more responses of welcome or that it will work. I'll just
say thanks in advance so I won't clutter up the list.

Also, what are the other apps I need to put on the phone?
