If you have done the factory reset and you have reinstalled MA, then you can
do the following, per the MA Manual.....
". To set MA as the default home screen, press the home key, navigate
to and check the "Use by default for this action" check box and select MA.
Doing this will open the MA window automatically when the phone starts and
when pressing the home key the next time." This really does work; you may
need sighted assistance on this part.

It sounds like you still have the 30 day trial installed. When you
purchased the full version, you still have to uninstall the 30 day trial and
then install the full version once again. You will need someone to help you
do this. And, no you do not have to repurchase the paid version, there is
record that you purchased it off of that phone so you do not have to buy it
again. I just wish I could fix my problem like this will fix yours. I was
forced to update the evo shift and now HTC Sense is my primary and in order
to get to the screen that has the mobile accessibility functions I can only
go to if I go to aps. I want it as my default and this is no longer
possible.

Subject: [MA] Big Mobile Accessibility Problem, Please Help

Hi, I'm new on this list because last night my Mobile Accessibility suddenly
stopped working correctly for no apparent reason. Now every time I try to
access any feature of MA, like Phone or Contacts or Alarms, a message comes
up that says, "This application is not licensed. If you have already
purchased the application please make sure that your phone is correctly
connected to the Internet." Then there is an OK button, and pressing that
takes me to my phone's main Settings screen. Sometimes MA will repeat the
message "Please register Mobile Accessibility" several times.

This weird little barrier has kept me from making phone calls or doing very
much else on my phone since last night, and I have no idea why. Something
may have been corrupted for some reason. I bought the MA license last August
and it was working perfectly until last night. Do you guys know how to get
around this problem, or can I re-install MA without buying it again?

Sorry to bother you guys, but I wrote to Code Factory last night and they
haven't written me back yet. And I'd like to get my phone up and running
again. Thanks a lot!

I too am having the e-mail problem. But worse, I cannot set mobile
accessibility as my default. If you fixed the problem. Do walk me through
it. Even a phone call would help then to understand the list. Please help.

No one should feel they are a bother. We are all here to help each other
through this crazy phone stuff.  The dumb question is the one not asked";
don't know the originator of the quote, but it fits here.

Since no question is dumb, I have done all my steps of resetting phone to
factory defaults and had sighted assistance in re-installing apps lost--bar
code scanner, Color ID, and MA. Yes, the steps, people gave earlier for
making MA the default again did in fact work--annoying HTC Window is back in
its proper place too. However however, now when I go to Email within MA's
apps, I get an error message saying "data not available and to check account
settings and Internet connection. Internet works just fine; so so, how oh
how do I get email to work again. My Gmail is on my phone and shows up in
the apps outside of MA when you go to Applications, Settings and Gmail.
What is wrong and how to fix this? Thank you all for a very timely
response.

You will need to get internet access on your phone so that the software
can be verified. I think it will deactivate after a while when not connected
to the internet. After establishing connection to the internet I suggest
rebooting your phone. If it doesn't work try reinstalling mobile
accessibility. You shouldn't have to pay for it again as long as you install
the same language that you originally purchased.

You need to enter email account into the Ma email ap under settings. As to
why HTC sense home screen is appearing after clearing defaults, and making
MA as home screen the default... am at a loss.
