holddown your menu key, and it would say, words, characters, etc...
and then just use the arrow key to read letter by letter, or word by word.

Why do people bother with Braille as the screen reader tells you what
text is displayed on the screen. People argue that you need to know
the spelling of each word but this can be achieved with the move by
charactor feature.
