When I go to apps, under settings these are the choices Unknown sources allow installation of non market applications not checked Quick launch set keyboard shortcuts to launch applications Manage applications manage and remove installed apps Running services Storage use Battery use Development
When I go to manage applications, there is no appcalled launcher. Any thoughts? This makes no sense. Then you should be offered the choice of home screens again. Arrow to the bottom of the list of home screens, check the "set as defaults" box, then select MA. In that order.
