Okay, here's what to do with getting the email to work. Thank you Dusty.
You manually have to go into the settings that are right there in the MA
email client. Tap menu to get to settings; enter on email account. You
will see "my email", as the default. Remove that with backspacing and such.
Now, type your real gmail address, MA only excepts gmail. Arrow down to
okay and enter. Now, go back into settings from within MA Email, and do
this same steps for entering your gmail password and for the frequency of
checking your messages and for how many messages you want downloaded from
the gmail server.

On another front, if your ringer is not loud enough for you, go into the
following from the MA main screen: Go to Apps, Settings, Sound, volume, and
choose the option you want to change, like ringtone volume. Now, have
someone call you after exiting and see if volume is not llouder.

I hope I have helped people here. I have been helped and learned something
and wanted to help others.

Thank you.

I took my phone to the Verizon Store and got two people that didn't know how
to help me. What it is is that when I go into email from the MA screen, I
cannot get my email to download there. I get "Data Not Available, check
your Email settings and Internet connection". I can get into the Internet
just fine. The people at the store did did try removing my information and
putting back in. They couldn't help me. One lady admitted she wasn't real
technical. What can I do when MA messes up with my email? Please send me
some steps. Help ASAP. Thank you.

I also have a new droid 4, and I am having incredible problems getting
