It sounds like I am not alone with ICS and the APS issues.

Both sprint and boost mobile are going to come out with a new phone with a
full physical QWERTY keyboard.
The LG Mach, will be release on November 30th2012. The price of the phone is
yet to be known.
Though any new updates on this phone would be found on phonescoop.com or by
googling the LG Mach phone.
HTH.
Good luck.

Hi Catherine:

I know the phones that have physical keyboards from Sprint are the Motorola
Photon Q and the Kyocera Rise. There may be more, but these are the newest.
The reviews are also on www.phonescoop.com.

Hello,

I have a new droid 4 running android 4.0.4. I started out running talk
back. I could not use manage apps. When I clicked on it it would announce
the first app and then I couldn't read any more. I then tried using mobile
accessibility and things got worse. I still can't use manage apps, and even
though talk back is turned off, the mobile accessibility menu won't come up.
Also, when I go into settings and system to turn on wifi, is says that it is
no longer running. I sure hope someone can help.

Thanks Jim

Jim,

Can you provide a little more information?
What is exactly happening when you try to access it. Is anything spoken,
can you explore by touch? Does your directional keypad work? I am assuming
you are using ma, have you tried switching from ma to talk back and seeing
if a different result is had?

Dusty

Hi,

I have ICS with the Android Motorola 4 from Verizon. When I try going to
settings after first going into APS from MA screen, I, then, go into APS and
cannot cannot create hotkeys for applications and/or assign a letter to an
application.. Is this ability lost with ICS? Sighted people can see
something about All applications in that APS window, but even though
everything is checked with MA, I still cannot read that particular APS
window. Any suggestions, as I did try menu when in that screen, but all I
could hear when using arrow keys was "Sort by Name". Thank you.

Try this, try with your physical keyboard closed to use explore by touch.
This is using your gestures and not your directional keypad.

for all droid4 users having problems with ics, have you checked under about

a maintenance fix that is there you don't know about yet.

Interesting about manage apps. First, make sure you have the newest version
of talkback, mobile accessibility has several bugs under ICS. Unless motorla
has made major modifications to the manage apps screen, it should work fine.
Are you using the touch screen or the arrow keys to access it?
