to open try a continous swipe with your finger to the right and then down or upe and to the left. double tap and hold to remove a widgit. you should get a menu to select from and remove is one. otherwise double tap and hold on the widgit and drag up or down of the screen.

Nick,
The Talkback swipe gesture to open the notification screen doesn't work for me either, but I found another way. What I do is put two fingers on the top of the screen and swipe downwards. This gets me to the notifications most of the time. As for your second question, I have been looking for a way to modify home screens as well, but haven't found out how to do it until now.

*Subject:* [MA] Working with Notifications
Hi,
For some reason I can't seem to access notifications on my Samsung Galacsy Nexus. When I double tap a notification or perform the swipe to open the notification area, Talk Back says "shade Opened," but that's it. I find myself still on the home screen. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know how to delete a wigit from a home screen?
Thanks,
Nick
