not from within ma. You do this from the email/s clients you use. For
example k9-mail or from the stock gmail app, not the ma one. Hope this
helps. If you use k9, you go to each account that you have set up in it
to do this.

to shut off email notifications, do the following:
go into your email settings, then hit your menu button, and click on
more, then hit enter on account settings, then go down the list until
you hear email notifications, and uncheck it.
you should be ok from there.

Hi,
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to turn off my e-mail
notifications? I am using a Samsung Sidekick 4G with Ma, and I go
into applications, then settings, then notification pop-up, and I
uncheck notifications and enter on do not send e-mail notifications,
but I still get them incessantly.
I initially had this turned off and now want that ability back.
