Claudia, try swiping up with two fingers split apart and see if that
unlocks the phone. As far as answering a call, I never got that to
really work very well using the swipe method or flick and tap method,
but what seemed to work for me, and maybe for you as well, is to set the
home and power buttons to answer and end calls. I did this by unlocking
the phone, tapping phone, tapping menu, tapping call settings, tapping
both answer using home key and end calls with power key to check them
both. Try that and let me know the success.
