Hi sorry about my delay. If you download Darwin Reader to your phone it cost $15.00 You need to subscribe to Bookshare.org it cost $30.00 per year.
Once you are a member of Bookshare.org you will open Darwin Reader on your phone. It will ask you to log into Bookshare.org the first time. It remembers your sign info going forward. The app allows you to search by author or name of the book or you can search from catagories. once you find your book you click download. The book downloads in less than 2 minutes to your phone. You go back to the main menu in Darwin Reader and you will see your book. Click on it and in less than ten seconds you are listening to your book. Once you get the hang of the app you can open the app, log in and search for your book and download it and be listening to the new book in less than four minutes. This app and Bookshare.org is nothing less than Freaking Awesome. It has made such a positive difference in my life. I love being able to listen to books of my choice while walking or exercising etc. Please let me know if you have any questions or need help. I can’t say enough about this app \ Jeff From: Arnþór Helgason Sent: Sunday, June 30, 2013 6:31 PM To: Mobile Accessibility Android Users List Subject: [SPAM]Re: [MA] E-books But what about importing epub-books to your android from a computer? It has not worked for me yet. The only accessible EPUB-reader I have found on the web is The Ideal Group Reader, which reads unprotected e-books. If you enter this app by using MA to access it, it is not one of those apps fully accessible outside MA, as the text cannot be read, only the list of books and the table of contents. I have found a way around it by launching Talkback together with MA. I know it is not recommended by Code Factory to run the two screenreaders simultaneously, but in this case it works. I really hope Code Factory will work with some devellopers in making e-books accessible, whether they are protected or unprotected.
