just do the following:
while on the phone call, just hit your home key, then move down to you get
to home screen, hit enter, and choose the person you want to send a text
too.
for example, click on send new message, and then select from contact, choose
the person, and then type the message, and click on send... you could also
read any text messages you get while on a phone as well.
you should also be able to browse the internet by doing the same thing only
choose web, and so much more.
