I press the button "enable compas" if it is not checked. On my Samsung Galaxy S III (with a new motherboard) the compas works fine. However I remember haveing som problems with it when MA was running. First I used Walkytalky from the apps menu of MA but after the last updates of MA some problems occurred. Therefore I state that Code Factory should develop a menu system together with accessible software like the caller, Where am I, email, web browser etc. There is a number of apps, running quite well with Talkback. But when MA is running and these apps ar launched from the apps menu they don't work propperly. Just to name 2 of them, neither Go read nor The Ideal Reader (both e-book programs) are usable with MA. And if MA is not used as a screen reader neither the email nor web browser from Code Factury are usable.

I sometimes feel that Code Factory is implimenting the same policy as Telesensory Systems in the 1980's, when they were producing the VersaBraille with it's own format whicn no other computer could read. It is a pitty as Code Factory started quite well.

Hello,
I was trying to get to use the compass on walky-talky, all day yesterday, with talkback, but it only spoke once or twice, when I was getting out of a menu, other then that, it wouldn't read out the location.
is there something I am not doing correctly?
also would I'll be able to download the compass alone that's attached to the walky-talky app? I know I was able to before but, lately I couldn't find it in the play.store.
Thanks.

Hello, Pedro.

I just set up Walkytalky today. After launching the software, go to settings and then "enable compas" is on the up left corner.

It could be that you need to turn off MA while using WT.

Have a good luck.

Thanks. I have tried out walkytalky as well, but the compass on it doesn't work anymore. though, I have tried Polaris navigation, and that works hmm, somewhat ok, but I can't get it to just read out the compass navigation only. if you know how I can get it to just read out the compass navigation, please let me know.
Thanks again.

I have used a software called Walkytalki. Then Polaris navigation has an excellent compas.

Thanks in advance.
