Hi all, One feature of Lion that some of you may not be aware of is the fact that the state of your applications is maintained when you exit. So, for example, if you go to:
www.mac-access.net and exit safari with cmd-q, the next time you launch Safari you'll be taken back there. This is similar to the behaviour of Safari on IOS devices. Now to prevent this, you have two choices. You can disable this behaviour globally in system preferences|General. Alternatively, you can exit the app using CMD-Option-q. cheers, Dónal Dónal Fitzpatrick dfitz...@computing.dcu.ie <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find a monthly formatted archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at the following URL: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free!
