You're talking about 1 Password for Lion? Yep, they're having problems with the extension manager at the moment and the developers have been offering tips, there's a document explaining what to do so I'll post a link to that.
Usually, you'll be prompted for the "Master Password" every time you launch Safari and use the 1 Password extension, this can be changed in 1 Password preferences. As for my original topic?
