Hi Jonathan

To be honest I think it's possibly the case that Sarah has misunderstood what 
Lynne was trying to say.  What we did was to rename the app, (you can't just 
delete it because it's running and, therefore, locked).  Then reboot the 
system.  Then delete the old version and install.  You might also need to go to 
your application support folder and delete the Dropbox preferences. But we did 
not have to do that.
