There are two solutions I know of: 1. Oleria which is a free reader. 2. GH
Accessibility's "ReadHear" which is somewhat more expensive but it's also got
more features.

The former doesn't supports library or anything flash; but it plays your files.
The second one supports full library functions and is also more proactive to
the user. We personally use ReadHear; but it isn't to everybody's needs or
liking.

Just do a google for them and I'm sure you'll find them. If not let us know.

Onh hang on, I think ReadHear is at http://www.gh-accessibility.com but I can't
off hand remember the URL for Oleria.

Hello everyone,

I frequently need to read material that is in the DAISY format. The way I do
it now is to download the material to my Mac and then transfer it to my Victor
Reader Stream. While this solution works, it isn't always the most convenient.
Does anyone know of a program that will let a person read books and articles
in the DAISY format on the Mac? I know that apps are available for iPhones,
but I would really like something for the Mac. In case there is any confusion,
I am not referring to audio files with the DAISY mark-up.

Thank you,

Mike
