Basically the answer to your question is yes, but I strongly recommend
upgrading to 8GB if you possibly can. We've done that on our MBP and all of
our servers and it makes a terrific difference even in native OSX which we run
99.9% of the time on the clients and 100% of the time on the server.

I really would suggest you upgrade. Remember also that the discussion of
Windows itself is off topic for this group. But you're very welcome to join
our new Windows list. To do so, send a message to
<windows-access-requ...@techno-chat.net> and then authenticate.

If you join that group, you could discuss the virtual machine setup here, then,
discuss the actual Windos config on that list.

Hi Lynne and others,

Copy and paste is working for me now in VM Fusion 3. I was getting
my fingers tangled and using windows commands on my Mac! So much to keep
track of and I have muscle memory after more then 25 years of PC work!

But, I can now use the copy command on either OS move to the other OS and
use the paste command. this is very useful.

I bet it works in VM 4. But, I have not been able to get VM 4 to work well
for me yet.

Is there still a way to do this?

sections of web pages, and by the time I mark two hot spots, turn off my
trackpad commander, disable cursor tracking, click the two hot spots, bring
up the context menu, discover which features I forgot to turn off, go
through it all a second time, bring up a context menu, copy the text, and
turn on my trackpad commander and cursor tracking again I may as well have
booted my xp machine and will still save time accomplishing the task. If I
could copy segments of code on a web page into xCode without having to use
different machines and dropbox it might make this product worth while.
