Hi Caitlyn, One way to do this would be to open the "Info" page for the item by pressing Command+I and navigating down to the "More Info" section where you should find an item called "Duration" which seems to give the length in hours:minutes:seconds. I tried this on several MP3 and M4A files and was able to get the duration.
