No, there isn't, and this is something I've complained about as well. There really needs to be a toggle as to whether new speech should interrupt existing speech, or go into a cue to be spoken when the current speaking is finished. You'll get used to it, but it sure is irritating, especially during a long compile, I always have to turn off cursor tracking before I start the compile, then review line-by-line after the compile finishes in order to get all of the output. I've asked apple to consider this toggle as an option, but since it was requested several years ago (back when leopard was in beta testing) I'm guessing they decided it wasn't worth implementing.
