No, I never thought of that. Cheers.

I located it in the downloads folder and did cmd+o to open the app. I downloaded some programmes from iPlayer that I was able to locate in iTunes and play no problem. Then I closed the app. Having done that, my intention was to add Get iPlayer Automator to my dock but I couldn't find it. Here's what I did, from the desktop I did cmd+shft+a for my list of apps, but it wasn't there. I assumed it would be there because I'd been using it. I wonder if I might have gone wrong by just opening the newly downloaded app instead of actually installing it. If that is right, what should I do instead of cmd+o to install a newly downloaded app? And if I install rather than open the dmg file will it automatically be added to my list of apps so I can add it to the dock? Cheers for now, Sunil ________________________________ Scope is a registered charity (number 208231) and a company limited by guarantee (number 520866).
