It has two camera as the ipad1 don't have any, it has a faster processer and more ram and it has that sentive touch screen that theipad1 don't have I forget what the techno name they call it. This is where GB app will work on the Ipad2 but not on the Ipad1 . These is the main difference as well as the Ipad2 is thinner and lighter. HTH
