Hi, if upgrading they will buy your iPhone from you depending on where you
get your upgrade. I think apple does it Verizon stores and Verizon do it and
best buy and Wal-Mart. I know my Verizon store or dealer should I say said
when I get ready for my upgrade he would give me 120 bucks on my old
iphone3gs 32 gb if I did not know longer want it. JST

Subject: Re: Iphone 3GS sold

It's possible we could have one for sale. I'm not usually a wheeler-dealer;
but this machine is in perfect condition, not a mark on it. It has a black
leather case and all the original packaging. One careful owner and
up-to-date iOS firmware and software.

Not using this group to advertise which isn't really its aim. But that said,
there's absolutely no harm in alerting people to the availability of Apple
equipment on list, then taking the subsequent discussion off list. I was
actually queried privately about Dane's original post but I honestly can't
see any problem with it. As long as people don't go over the top and start
using our resource blatantly as a buy/sell group. If people want a buy/sell
group for everything, not just Apple, we'd be happy to establish one. But
I'm not sure it would do much good as there are already a lot of resources
out there I think.

In fact, to be honest, I wouldn't know where to begin with a buy/sell on
line. I've never done it before. Anyway I'm drifting off topic so I'll shut
up. If we upgrade our iPhone there will be a mint condition 3GS available.

Sorry to bother the list but I thought I'd better let you all know that the
iPhone 3GS I mentioned I had for sale here has found a home, thanks to those
who enquired and I'm sorry I don't have more than 1 <smile>.
