It's a great shame this is happening.

as an IT Tech, there's times I'd like to tether my iphone to the mac as a quick 
modem where internet access isn't available, especially when getting hold of 
drivers or emergency files, etc. I don't want to be in the position of paying 
stupid money for a 2nd setup. especially USB internet solutions where they are 
unreliable at best.

someone give me a bow and arrow and point me in the direction of the fella who 
decided to kill this internet tethering solution. BAH HUMBUG!

anywho, better things to do... tra la la.
