Hi, you will not have to repay if you use the same user ID as on your Iphone3gs! Your wife will be able to share as long as she uses the same iTunes ID as you have. If you use the same id all you will need to do is re sync to iTunes on the computer and check the ones you want on your device and she check the one she want on her device. or if you don't sync to the computer then just go to the app store on your device and sign in and and redownload the apps you want from the perches tab in the app store on your device it will have a list of all apps and such that you bought thru iTunes. HTH

You shouldn't need to re-pay for the apps if you get a new phone. The apps would be stored on your computer assumedly, so you should be able to just transfer them. My wife is also thinking about buying an iPhone 4S. Will I be able to add my paid for Apps like Navigon to her iPhone as well as to my iPhone or do I have to pay again for the Apps my wife wants. This assumes both iPhones are synced to iTunes on my iMac. My wife has a Windows computer and if she syncs her iPhone via iTunes on her computer rather than my computer will she then have to pay for the Apps ? Many thanks.
