I have never heard of an iPod Touch with GPS.
Your friend can get one by a company called:
Movy
And they make a back that can be either a battery, or GPS, or both.
Search for Movy Juice Pack.

Subject: Further iPod Touch questions and clarification needed

Hi everyone!

Just ordered my 64GB iPod touch for $399.00 Australian dollars so I should
have that early next week according to the shipping details.

I have another question and it doesn't concern me so much as I don't intend
to use my iPod for much if any GPS stuff.

A friend of mine would very much like to buy an iPod Touch but he's been
told that you can't use the GPS functionality of the iPod unless you jail
break the device, is this true?

I always thought that the iPod didn't have a GPS device of its own however
it could be used in conjunction with a Bluetooth GPS receiver, is this
correct?

Interested to hear comments.

Thanks In Advance
