Actually the current media doomsday panic is about a trojan not a virus and to 
have got it on your system you would have had to visit a dodgy web site and 
attempted to download a piece of code that related to, spit, an adobe installer 
- well, says it all doesn't it?


It's up to the individual though if they want to get locked in to that whole 
anti virus upgrade cycle from hell, I'll pass for now thanks.
