NetFlix needs to have DVS programming available, as do the other services, IMO. Glenn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Travis Siegel" <tsie...@softcon.com> To: "Mac OSX & iOS Accessibility" <mac-access@mac-access.net> Sent: Sunday, May 13, 2012 11:44 PM Subject: Re: accessibility of Netflix
On both osx via safari, and ipod via their netflix app, things are very accessible. Unlike hulu plus on the other hand, which crashes my safari, and just gives me a bunch of unlabeled buttons on the ipod. <sigh> Still, it's not a bad service, since it has a decent amount of things netflix doesn't, and the app on the ipod is usable, though it's extremely frustrating trying to get the right item, since all searches turn up with literally hundreds (in some cases) of buttons all identically labeled, and not a one of them tells you what the heck you're clicking on. <sigh> But, netflix is just about perfect when it comes to accessibility. I think there's one spot where a button or two is not labeled or done improperly, but I can't recall at the moment where that is, and it's not one that shows everyday, so it's not really a limiting factor. hth. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access@mac-access.net/>.
