Hi Lynn, a mud client is a programe that allows you to connect to muds, a mud is an online text adventure game where you type commands to make your character do what you want them to. You play with people over the net, some have up to 100 players or more playing at any one time. They are some of the best games for blind people because they are text based so there is no advantage weather blind or sighted players are playing, also it means blind and sighted players can play together on an even keel. Some are massive and some are small but they all have there own worlds and settings.
