Hi Will. You need to switch off the 'use compact voice' option in settings/general/accessibility/voiceover. You might also want to include the languages you want to switch between in the language rota, and set your region to british English. Also you need to be connected to wifi and leave it set to the language of choice for some time in order for the high quality voices to be downloaded to the ipad. It might take a while but switching the 'use compact voice' off should force the high quality voice to be downloaded. Hope this helps?
